I had surgery in Austin on January 23, 2018. We hired a Sweet Remedy caregiver to be my nurse for that night at hotel. She was so compassionate and so familiar with the care I needed that I was very reassured and we retained her services for the next 48 hours. She tended to me round the clock with patience and a smile. She did not hesitate to contact my doctor if I had questions. My husband was very anxious about my level of discomfort and she was able to ease his concerns with her gentle knowledgeable care. She was a blessing to us. I would recommend her to anyone needing help with their care.

Our Sweet Remedy caregiver met me at the TOC Eye and Face Surgical Center after my operation on June 12, 2018 and received the postoperative instructions along with myself. She drove me home and immediately proceeded to prepare the icing and medication as scheduled.

In a most timely and comforting manner she conducted the icing and other therapies as
indicated. Continuing to meet my needs and comfort, she assisted me through the
various stages of postoperative healing.

I am very appreciative of her caregiving on my behalf, and I would
recommend her without reservation to anyone else seeking postoperative assistance
and caregiving.

In July 2014, a Sweet Remedy caregiver to assist me through a laser and eyelid surgery recovery. She more than met my expectations! Being in her care gave me a great sense of comfort. Her knowledge of surgical steps for pre-op, post-op, checking in, and checking out was a tremendous help. She picked me up, drove me to my surgery - staying the whole time, brought me home. I had her stay with me the rest of the day and the first night. She followed all the post-op directions perfectly, making sure medications were given and bandages were replaced etc. were all done correctly, and at the right time. She was conscientious, kind and took very good care me. That included picking up prescriptions, running errands, warming up my dinner and serving it to me. All this was done in a warm and professional manner. She is someone of exceptional character and ability. I have complete confidence in her and have already asked for her employment during my next surgery. And I highly recommend her for someone who needs a caregiver.

When recently planning to have plastic surgery, my surgeon Dr. William M. Davis stressed the importance of having someone to care for me during the first 48 hours following surgery since I would be undergoing general anesthesia. My husband was not comfortable handling this alone since we’ve lived roughly 35 miles outside of Austin. Dr. Davis recommended Sweet Remedy Care as a personal healthcare aid. He said she was qualified, experienced and that several of his patients had hired her to care for them following surgery and were very pleased with her performance. I contacted Sweet Remedy immediately and made arrangements for their services.

My Sweet Remedy caregiver picked me up from the Austin surgery center in her vehicle and brought me to my home outside of Elgin. She spent the night with us. Throughout this time, even in the middle of the night, she was very attentive and made sure every need was met. Every time I opened my eyes, she was there to assist me. She administered my pain medication every four hours, assisted me in getting to and from the restroom, made sure I got something to eat, and was very pleasant company.

On the morning of the second day, she took me back to Austin to see my doctor. Her driving was excellent, and she knew just where to park so that she could assist me with getting in and out of the building. She brought me back to my home in Elgin and stayed until my husband returned late in the afternoon.

She met our every expectation. In addition to obviously being a qualified and experienced health aide, she was prompt, dependable, patient, and a delightful person. We found her performance to be excellent and highly recommend Sweet Remedy Care!
